Organize to take the child to a play out with some other moms with same age kids. Be careful on this not just to invite any mum but a friend or a family member or someone who is trusted. You need to ensure that your child is safe during the play date. As you chat with other mothers ensure that you can see the kids all the time.

When you have some errands to run like shopping for grocery instead of leaving the child or delaying the process, take the kid with you for shopping. Don’t be strict to the child once you get to the store, rather allow them to pick some grocery for you and put them on the basket. You can also allow the kid to push the cart as you pick other items. Watch carefully to find some of the things that attract the kid. Apart from this you can help the kid in counting or learning some new terms, this is very interesting.

Lastly, you can engage the kid on some of the indoor activities. But to do this you have to be at the level of the kid. Engage the child in pushing the car toy or toss the ball to and fro. Also, teach your child how to make a tower using the wooden buildings blocks and destroy them to allow the child to make theirs. During these activities both you and the kid will be engaged and entertained.
